Amme Verbarendse

Amme is an associate attorney who joined Anderson Hunter after five years in a full-time litigation practice. Amme’s primary practice areas include personal injury (both plaintiff and defense), litigation, and labor law. Additionally, Amme also serves as a neutral fact-finding investigator in workplace investigations for both public and private employers.

Throughout her career, Amme has handled mediations, arbitrations, and motions practice across many Western Washington counties. She has experience with a large variety of personal injury claims including nursing home negligence, trucking accidents, student injuries at school, third-party worker’s compensation claims, construction injuries, motor vehicle collisions, catastrophic motorcycle injuries, severe burns, dog-bites, and premises liability cases. She is also well-versed in IFCA litigation and subrogation negotiation.

Amme takes the time to personally know her clients in order to fully understand their injuries and all aspects of their damages. Amme currently serves as a co-chair for the CLE and Events Committee of the Skagit County Bar Association.

Amme was born and raised in Snohomish County and loves calling it home. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her pets, playing tennis, skiing, singing karaoke, traveling, and trying new local restaurants.
