Alex Lawson
Alex M. Lawson is an associate attorney at Anderson Hunter and is proud to be an LGBTQIA+-friendly. Originally from Melbourne, Australia, Alex completed her law degree at University of North Carolina in before making her way west to Seattle and earning her state bar admission. Alex’s practice focuses on family law matters, including dissolution (divorce) , custody disputes, parentage cases, modifications of existing domestic orders, child support, and minor guardianships. She also assists client seeking protection orders specializing in supporting survivors of domestic violence using trauma-informed practices. Alex is deeply invested in giving back to the community and regularly volunteers at the Snohomish County Legal Services Family Law Clinic, providing free legal advice to low-income clients and their families. In her free time, Alex takes road trips and hikes with her friends to explore more of the West Coast. She enjoys travel, tennis, true crime podcasts, and competing in local bar trivia (she’s a three-time champion!).
